Helping users discover the market efficiently

animehk is designed to help property searchers discover and compare relevant properties across multiple sources in one consistent search experience. Indexing can also benefit originating advertisers by helping prospective buyers and tenants discover their listings and by directing users to the advertiser or original listing for further information.

Aggregated and authorised listings

Listing information may come from publicly accessible third-party property listings, participating advertisers, agencies or other legitimate property-information sources. A listing may therefore appear on animehk even where the originating advertiser has not purchased a listing package from us.

Where an advertiser claims, upgrades or otherwise authorises an enhanced listing, we may display additional photographs, descriptions, logos, branding or other material under that permission.

Original advertiser and original listing

For aggregated listings, we aim to identify the originating source/advertiser and, where we have a usable source URL, provide a link to the original third-party listing. The source link allows users to check the advertiser’s latest information and gives the originating website an outbound referral from our Service.

Limited preview presentation

Our standard free aggregated-listing presentation is deliberately limited. It may use one locally processed preview image for the listing card/first gallery position and up to four additional property images loaded directly from the originating third-party website rather than stored as a permanent copy by us.

Because remotely loaded images remain hosted by the originating third party, they may disappear or change if that publisher removes the file, changes the URL, blocks remote loading or otherwise changes its website.

Listings for which we have the appropriate permission may display a larger gallery or additional authorised content.

Contact details shown with a property

Where a listing displays an estate agent’s name, telephone number, email address or similar professional contact information, that information may be sourced from the originating third-party property listing and shown so that a property searcher can contact the advertiser responsible for that listing.

Users should verify the identity, licence status and current authority of any property professional before entering into a transaction.

Source information can change

Aggregated listing information is a snapshot of information available from its source and may not update at exactly the same time as the originating website. A property may have been sold, let, withdrawn or changed after it was indexed. Measurements, prices, features, agent details and other information may also contain source errors or extraction errors.

For that reason, listing information on animehk is provided for discovery/reference and is not guaranteed. Users should confirm important information with the original advertiser and consult the original listing where available.

Tell us when something is wrong

Advertisers, rightsholders and users can report an incorrect source, stale listing, broken original-listing link, incorrect agent information, rights concern or removal request. Please provide enough information for us to identify the listing and verify the request.

Third-party ownership

Agency names, trade marks, photographs, source-site content and other third-party material remain owned by their respective owners or licensors. animehk does not claim ownership merely because a listing is indexed or a remote item is displayed. If you believe your rights are affected, use the reporting route above so the issue can be reviewed promptly.
